Babylon Gallery, Arts Development for East Cambridgehire

October 2011 - Babylon Gallery, Arts Development for East Cambridgehire. Ely, Cambridgeshire, UK

Installation, exhibition and workshops

Fair Trade: Material Matters was installed in the gallery for three weeks.

Jane Frost worked in residence, introducing people to the project, stitching portraits and running workshops, both by appointment and with visitors.

A studio area was set up where people drew their self-portraits.

These were collected each day and pinned in preparation to be included in the project.

A small library of relevant reference materials was provided and an area for response to the work through drawing and discussion. Each day feedback was shared on a blackboard and photographed.
