FTMM was installed for Fair Trade Fortnight and Black History Month in the centre of the collection at The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts. Participants drew self-portraits and pinned them to an old cotton tent or blankets on camp beds. Workshops and discussions were about belonging, travelling and finding homes. These were relevant to the context of The Sainsbury Centre’s permanent collection, students living on site and visitors to the installation
